Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Retena's AI memory platform for WhatsApp. By using Retena, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Retena provides tools to capture, transcribe, and make searchable the voice notes and messages from WhatsApp group conversations and personal (1-on-1) chats that you authorize.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of your organization.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
One organization per account unless otherwise agreed in writing

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Retena to:

Capture communications from individuals who have not been informed or consented
Store or process legally privileged communications without appropriate safeguards
Circumvent usage limits or attempt to access other organizations' data
Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law
Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission
Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content through the service

    Informed Consent: You are responsible for ensuring all parties in any group or personal chat connected to Retena have been informed that their messages and voice notes are being captured and processed. Retena is a tool — proper use is your responsibility.
  

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Retena is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
No refunds for partial months except where required by law
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data captured through Retena. We process it only to provide the service. You may export or delete your data at any time.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

Retena and its technology are our proprietary property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service during your subscription.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retena's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
